Alexis has over two decades of experience in financial information and technology. Before founding Zelig Associates, he worked at Reuters, where he held roles including Head of Strategy for the Investment Management division and Global Head of Strategy for Reuters' Enterprise division
Prior to these strategy-focused roles, Alexis was an investment banker at ABN AMRO and Putnam Lovell NBF (later Jefferies). In both these roles he worked on corporate finance and M&A specifically for FinTech companies
Alexis holds a MA in Economics from McGill University

Lorcan joined Zelig in 2019, with over 23 years of investment banking experience in London, New York and Dubai in various roles at JP Morgan, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and most recently as a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank in London. During this time he has led over 150 transactions across geographies and sectors, with a specific focus in recent years on banking, insurance, payments and software
Lorcan is an Irish national and qualified with a BComm International with French (first class honours) and a Masters Degree in Finance from University College Dublin
Outside of work, Lorcan enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters and stays active by participating in tennis, skiing, sailing, football and yoga

In the last 10 years, Richard has co-founded four new businesses and acted as the CFO for three businesses
Richard was formerly an investment banker at Barclays Capital and ABN AMRO and has executed on over 40 M&A and capital raises with a combined value of over USD200bn
Richard trained and qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte

Roland Pecsenye

While at university, Roland founded one of Hungary’s first B2B FinTech companies with three friends. Over the following 18 years, he grew IND Group to a leading international digital banking software solutions vendor with nine offices and over 250 employees. Following a successful exit to Vista Equity Partners led Finastra (FKA Misys) in 2014, Roland has been a keen investor and mentor for European FinTech startups

Outside of work Roland enjoys travelling to his ancestral homeland in the Zemplén Mountains in North-East Hungary with his family. Here he cultivates several estates in the UNESCO world heritage site of Tokaj-Hegyalja, with its centuries old tradition of making naturally sweet white wines, and in Gönc, with his Pálinka distillery built on family estates producing fruit brandies

Menny Shalom

Menny has two decades' experience in the technology sector as a founder and CEO for multiple Israel-based technology companies. Prior to joining Zelig, he was founder and CEO of Wayerz, a company providing a digital correspondent banking platform including a complex billing system. He was also founder and CEO of Mipso, a SaaS-based virtual fitting room and styling platform for fashion brands and retailers. Menny also served as Chief of Staff for former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak
Menny holds two Master’s degrees: in Banking and Finance from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and in Law from Columbia University School of Law. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Accounting from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem

Senthil Kumar Venugopal

Senthil joined Zelig in 2017, having spent 30 years in financial services technology roles, most recently at Oracle Corporation, where his roles included Group Vice President and Global Head of Business Development at Oracle Financial Services
Senthil was CEO of Europe and Global CMO of i-flex Solutions, before the company was acquired by Oracle in 2007
Earlier in his career, Senthil worked at Wipro, Citi, and Microsoft
In addition to his role at Zelig, Senthil also actively invests in and advises early stage companies on market expansion and brand development

Dale Richards

Dale joined Zelig in 2018, with over 30 years’ experience in the FinTech, data and analytics sectors as a senior executive, investor, board member and consultant. During his career he has worked at First Derivatives (President, North America and Global Head of Data Strategy), SunGard (Chief Data Officer and President of EDM), FAME Information Services (a Warburg Pincus-backed firm where he was President and CEO) and Benton Associates (Start-up Founder, CEO)
In addition to his role at Zelig, Dale is Managing Director at Island 20 Ventures, a strategy, business and corporate development, and management advisory firm in the fields of data management, big data, analytics, technology, business strategy and data monetization
Dale holds an HBA from Ivey Business School, the University of Western Ontario

Owen joined Zelig in 2016, having previously worked at HSBC, where he worked on the UK investment banking team
Prior to joining HSBC, Owen worked at Strata Partners, a technology-focused investment banking boutique where he got his first exposure to FinTech as a member of the team advising Holvi on its sale to BBVA
Owen holds a BA from the University of Chicago and an MSc from the London School of Economics. He has also holds a certificate in FinTech from MIT
Outside of work Owen can be found running – having completed the fabled Marathon des Sables ultramarathon as well as seven conventional marathons – or climbing mountains
